Homes prices in Auburn jumped 11.1 percent but home sales dropped 4.8 percent in February compared to the same month last year.

The number of new listings grew 28.8 percent, with 138 homes coming on the market in February.

A total of 79 homes were sold at a median price at $275,000, according to numbers compiled by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company.

The median home price was $299,450 for single-family homes and $173,000 for condos and townhomes.

The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.

Auburn homes spent an average of 48 days on the market.
