Latest COVID-19 stats for Auburn and King County

As of Tuesday, Sept. 1, here is where the city of Auburn stood with respect to King County overall in COVID-19 stats, according to the King County Public Health website.

• King County overall: 365,209 tested — 3,774 more than the previous day — at a rate of 16.404.3 tested per 100,000 residents.

• City of Auburn: 10,082 tested — 121 more than the previous day — at a rate of 14,053.5 tested per 100,000 residents,

• King County positive results: 19,711. 46 new over the previous day, 4.0 percent of all tested, a rate of 885.4 per 100,000 residents.

• City of Auburn: 1,196 positive cases, 13 new over the previous day, 9.4 percent of all tested, a rate of 1,667.1 per 100,000 residents.

• Hospitalizations countywide: 2,234 with 5 new over the previous day, 11.3 percent of all positive cases, at a rate of 100.3 per 100,000 residents;

• Hospitalizations in the city of Auburn: 129 with 3 new cases from the previous day, 10.8 percent of all positive cases, at a rate of 179.8 per 100,000 residents.

• Deaths to COVID-19 countywide: 724, 4 new over the previous day, 3.7 percent of all positive cases, at a rate of 32.5 deaths per 100,000 residents;
