A man was shot and killed early Friday at an apartment complex in the 2600 block of D Street Southeast in Auburn.

According to Auburn police, officers and medics responded at about 2:20 a.m.to calls reporting shots fired. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident and have not released any other information.
