Marker cleanup day is Saturday at Auburn’s Mountain View Cemetery

Mountain View Cemetery has scheduled a weekend marker cleanup opportunity on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist families in the care and cleanup of their markers at the cemetery in preparation for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

Mountain View Cemetery has scheduled a weekend marker cleanup opportunity on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist families in the care and cleanup of their markers at the cemetery in preparation for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

The annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 30.

While the marker is considered private property and the normal care and maintenance of it is the responsibility of the respective family, cemetery staff will be on hand to help families during this yearly clean-up opportunity.
