A couple recently wrote supporting the proposed community center. They feel that a conservative group wrote several letters against the community center.
I guess “conservative group” is liberalspeak for taxpayer as opposed to moocher.
I sacrificed a lot to pay off my house. It still costs me $350 per month in property taxes.
These people want to raise my taxes to build themselves a “playhouse.” Isn’t that cute?
I can retire and move away from the expensive housing and high taxes in a few years.
For young people who dream of owning a home someday, how high will your taxes be in the future?
First a golf course, then a community center, then a swimming pool, Ferris wheel, Go-Kart track, archery range, zipline down main street … you get the idea.
How many voters will actually even use a community center? We are too busy working to pay all the taxes.
