Valley Regional Fire Authority units. King County Medics, Algona Police and Auburn Police responded to the scene of a serious motorcycle accident on West Valley Highway just north of 15th Street Southwest at 7:28 p.m., Monday.

Medics transported the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, to Harborview Medical Center with multiple traumatic injuries. As of mid-afternoon Tuesday, his condition was unknown.

Witnesses told emergency responders that the motorcylist hit a pole at a high speed.

Auburn Police are investigating.
