From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 19 there will be a departure ceremony for the Washington National Guard’s 81st Brigade at Game Farm Park.

Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis, Governor Christine Gregoire and Congressmen Adam Smith and Dave Reichert will be there. A program in the park with a barbecue for the guard begins at 2:30 p.m.

Organizers are expecting approximately 1,300 people.
