Police blotter

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Sept. 19 and 26:

Sept. 19

Theft from vehicle: Overnight, 6400 block of Hazel Lane Southeast. A thief broke into a man’s van and swiped several tools.

Sept. 20

Felonious theft from vehicle: Overnight, 1300 block of 8th Street Northeast. A thief working the graveyard shift on the north end stole a gun from a vehicle.

Order violation: 3:52 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A woman called 911 to report that she’d been the victim of an order violation while she was shopping at the Outlet Collection Mall.

Obstructing justice: 8:01 p.m., 921 Harvey Road NE. Somebody towed a go-kart and police arrested a man for getting in the way of justice.

Sept. 22

Git, and stay git: 7:58 a.m, 615 15th St. SW. A man got the boot from all Auburn School District property.

Vandalism: 1:01 p.m., 1600 block of Perimeter Road Southwest. Some angry dude vandalized his ex-girlfriend’s car.

Sept. 25

Theft: 12:05 a.m., 1241 Auburn Way N. Somebody broke into a locker at a business and swiped a cell phone.

Shoplifting: 3:18 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A trio of thieving females, no ages given, thieved an undisclosed quantity of clothing from the Tommy Hilfiger store at the Outlet Collection Mall.

Sept. 26

Disorderly conduct: 1:03 a.m., 2500 block of B Street Northwest. Police arrested three kids from Rochester on suspicion of reckless endangerment, unlawful race attendance and for being minors in possession of booze after one of them allegedly chucked an unlawful firework at a responding police officer’s vehicle. Police then released the wayward youths to their parents.

Sept. 27

Vandalism: Overnight, 12722 SE 312th St. Under cover of darkness, a bad person unknown damaged four tires on a vehicle.

Felonious theft: 5:50 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A man stole a gold rope necklace from a business in the Outlet Collection.

Sept. 29

Shoplifting: 3:35 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A male tried to steal shoes from a business at the Outlet Collection Mall, but he could not run from the law.

Vandalism: 5:10 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Bad guys tried to steal the catalytic converter off a vehicle parked at Burlington Coat Factory, but all they managed to do was inflict extensive damage on the car.

Gunshot: 9:50 p.m., 3500 block of M Street Southeast. A resident reported a gunshot that had struck their vehicle.
