A woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after a car hit her on the 3300 block of I Street Northeast, according to the Auburn Police Department.

The crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Monday, March 14, police shut down the road for several hours following the accident.

The driver of the car was taken into custody, according to the Auburn Police Department.
