Auburn police responded

to the following calls for service between Aug. 20 and Aug. 18:

AUG. 20

Forgery: 4:20 p.m., 1509 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a woman after she tried to change her Vicodin prescription from 12 pills to 20. The woman claimed she was “only fixing” her prescription.

Theft: 4:50 p.m., 900 block of 67th Street Southeast. Two juveniles with a history of criminal activity visited a girl at her house. When the visitors left the residence, lo and behold, property was missing.

AUG. 19

Burglary: Overnight, 2301 M St. S.E. Somebody broke into Pioneer Elementary School but took nothing and wreaked no havoc.

Burglary: Overnight, 3030 R St. S.E. Somebody entered an unlocked concession stand at Game Farm Park, possibly took some ice cream, then left silent testimony to their brazen overnight theft of a frozen goodie by writing graffiti on the stand.

Burglary: Overnight, 3025 Auburn Way N. Auburn Subaru called to report that somebody had damaged four vehicles in their secured lot and stolen the wheels and tires.

Theft from kid: 1:46 p.m.,

500 block of M Street Southeast. A male type person, age not given, sold two DVD’s to a 13-year-old girl and did not give her change back.

Theft: 3 p.m., 516 4th St. N.E. Somebody stole a woman’s purse from the Auburn Swimming Pool.

Burglary: 4:30 p.m., 1300 block of 3rd Street Southeast.

A woman reported that somebody had burglarized the house she was sitting.

Vandalism: 9:17 p.m., 2900 block of Auburn Way South. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend’s friend kicked in her front door, laid hands on her ex’s things and departed into the night with said things.

Assault: 10:45 p.m., 1000 block of 37th Street Southeast. A teenage boy assaulted his dad and broke several household items before jumping off a second-story balcony and running away.

Burglary: 7:40 p.m., 2400 block of F Street Southeast. A woman called to report that somebody had burglarized her apartment and stolen a leased plasma television.

DUI alcohol or drugs: 12:20 a.m., 600 block of 19th Street Southeast. Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence after she hit a parked vehicle and drove away from the scene. Neighbors had tracked the woman down. The woman provided two breath samples that showed she was over the limit.

Trespassing: 12:05 a.m.,

800 4th Street Northeast. Police arrested four boys for trespassing after finding them inside the locked gates at Auburn High School’s Memorial Stadium after hours.

AUG. 18

Minty fresh, nice do: 6:46 a.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. Police arrested a teenage boy for shoplifting toothpaste, a toothbrush and hair gel from Top Food & Drug. Store employees had found the kid using the pilfered products in the store bathroom.

Burglary: 1 p.m., 812 35th Street Northeast. Several vehicles were prowled and items stolen while the cars were parked in a fenced yard at Hindshaw’s Auto Body.

Wire fraud: 10:24 a.m., 30500 block of 52nd Avenue South. A man reported he had been the victim of Internet fraud after he sent a large sum of money to an unidentified individual via Money Gram for a down payment on a motor home he found for sale on an RV Web site.

Vandalism: 2:55 p.m., 500 block of 37th Street Northwest. A woman parked her vehicle in the parking lot to the Interurban Bike Trail so that she could ride her bike to work. She returned to discover somebody had broken into her car and swiped her Costco ID.

Vandalism: 6:06 p.m., 31600 block of 126th Avenue Southeast. An unknown suspect let the air out of a vehicle tire. The victim stated this is an ongoing problem and believes the neighbors are involved, but lacked evidence to support said claim.

Shoplifting: 7:05 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way. Police arrested a boy for shoplifting clothing at the Sports Authority at the Supermall.
