JULY 1

Theft: 4:11 p.m. 122 3rd St. NE. A female left her diamond ring and a silver ring on a bathroom counter at a doctor’s office. She returned a few minutes later and discovered the rings were gone. There were no suspects at the time.

Resisting/interfering with police: 8:50 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Suspect called 911 to report that he needed medical attention. This was in reference to his being exposed to the by products of methamphetamine production. This is not the first time that this subject has made the complaint and it has been unfounded on all prior occasions. The subject subsequently was arrested by citation for causing unnecessary emergency response.

Theft: 2:35 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A black 1991 Nissan 240SX coupe was stolen from the Muckleshoot Casino parking garage. The vehicle has mismatched wheels, a loud exhaust, is lowered, and has a “JDM Option” bumper sticker on the rear.

Assault: 1:53 a.m., 202 N Division St. Two nurses were assaulted at the Auburn Regional Medical Center. A female was arrested for two counts of Assault 3 against the two nurses.

Kidnapping/abduction: 11:07 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Victim reported being assaulted and then forced to leave in a vehicle with her ex-boyfriend.

Theft: 2:43 p.m., 1738 C Place SE. A woman reported that her estranged husband stole her credit card number and used her account to pay his bills.

Animal problem: 7:34 p.m., 2500 K St. SE. A woman was walking her dog when another dog started fighting with her dog. While separating the dogs, she was bitten by the aggressor dog.

Auto theft: 9:10 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. A champagne-colored 1990 4-door Honda was stolen.

Bomb threat: 2:35 a.m., 700 W. Main St. A sparkler bomb was detonated by unknown suspect(s).

JUNE 30

Vandalism: 2:17 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Five vehicle windows were shattered between 2 and 2:15 a.m. at the Fred Meyer parking lot. No suspect information.

Burglary: 7:20 a.m., 2808 A St. SE. An unknown person cut through the chain link fence at Utility Vault, and broke into three company trucks stealing cell phones and tools.

Burglary: 8:02 a.m., 220 8th St. SE. A tire store was the victim of a commercial burglary overnight. Unknown suspects threw bricks breaking the glass doors. Once inside they stole keys and a computer. There are no suspects.

Frightening: 10:11 a.m., 1401 M St. NE. A domestic dispute with a weapon was reported. The suspect was reported to have chased a roommate with a meat cleaver after the roommate had been found in bed with the suspect’s wife.

Fraud: 10:56 a.m., 1824 61st St. SE. A female reported someone obtained her debit card information and attempted to wire money from her account via Western Union.

Vandalism: 11:57 a.m., 29916 114th Way SE. An unknown person maliciously placed nails and screws in two driveways.

Molestation, burglary: 11:56 a.m., 504 25th St. SE. Police arrested a subject charged with first-degree child molestation and first-degree burglary. Subject entered a friends residence without permission through a rear sliding glass door and had sexual contact with the friend’s 8-year-old daughter.

JUNE 29

Immaculate repossession: 10:08 a.m., 505 17th St. SE. An unknown person stole a black 1996 Honda Civic from the parking lot of the Holy Family Church while the owner was attending Sunday Mass.

Theft from vehicle: 11:49 a.m., 401 8th St. SW. While the victim was staying in the hotel, unknown subject(s) forced their way into victim’s vehicle with a Slim Jim and stole a laptop worth $2,300.

Burglary: 10:48 a.m., 12722 SE 312th St. 12. Resident said an unknown person stole her plasma television and laptop.

Games suspended: 1:02 p.m., 245 15th St. SE. While the victim and friend were sleeping, unknown subject(s) entered the residence by opening an unlocked sliding glass door and taking a Nintendo WII game valued at around $1,000.

Assault with a firearm: 2:22 p.m. 3030 M St. SE. Two males were arrested when they pointed a fake gun at another car. The males were charged with second-degree assault and booked into the Auburn Jail. One male pointed a chrome and black pistol at another car occupied by two people. The victims did not know the males. The victims were able to get a license and description of the car and called 911. Police arrived a short time later and arrested the two suspects at an apartment complex. The gun turned out to be an air soft gun. No one was injured.

Pot possession: 11:19 p.m., 1300 25th St. SE. Adult male was arrested for possession of marijuana after a report of drug activity in the block. The male was booked into the Auburn Jail.

Theft, assault: 11:55 p.m. 1101 Supermall Way SW. A man called 911 to report that his girlfriend’s cell phone had been stolen in the movie theatres. When the man confronted the thief, he was assaulted and the thief left the scene in a vehicle.
