OCT. 5

Home robbery: 1:46 a.m.,

3700 block of A Street Southeast. Two females, ages not given, reported an unknown male person – young, old, police didn’t say – entered their home and robbed them at gun point of unspecified items worth an undisclosed amount.

OCT. 4

Theft: Overnight, 12500 block of Southeast 312th Street. Persons unknown stole the catalytic converter from a pickup truck parked on the street. Police did not disclose a value.

Theft: 1:50 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A poker dealer at the Muckleshoot Casino managed to steal about $200 between Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, so police arrested him or her for misdemeanor theft.

Theft from motor vehicle: 9:51 a.m., 5400 block of Elizabeth Avenue Southeast. Unknown subjects stole unidentified items worth an unspecified amount from a vehicle of unknown make belonging to somebody of undefined gender.

Burglary: Overnight, 2800 block of West Valley Highway North. Unknown suspects broke into several unidentified businesses. Police did not say if anything was actually taken.

Assault: 12:04 p.m., 1700 block of I Place Northeast. Police arrested a male by citation for punching his girlfriend in the mouth, for throwing her car keys and for damaging the driver’s side window of her car while they were arguing about her possible infidelity.

Shoplifting: 6 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. A Victoria’s Secret employee reported that $12,000 worth of merchandise, 150 pairs of panties and 230 bras, was missing.

Assault: 11:25 p.m.,

2400 block of Auburn Way North. While celebrating a wedding, two guys caught up in the excitement of the moment decided to take on security at Jack’s Tavern. That turned out to be a big mistake because police arrested them for assault.

OCT. 3

Assault with a firearm: 6:21 a.m., 1900 block of Auburn Way South. A male reported that a road rage incident led another male to point a gun at him. Police did not say what started things.

Theft: 2:30 p.m., 1048 Supermall Way S.W. Somebody broke a window out of a vehicle parked at the Supermall and stole the Garmin GPS unit inside. Police did not disclose a value.

Theft: 6 p.m., 1230 Supermall Way S.W. A female business person, age not disclosed, told police that her store, also not disclosed, is missing some $15,000 in merchandise, likewise not disclosed.

Pack of thieves:

7 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. A male person told police that a conniving gang of three stole his backpack from his kiosk station while he was working at the Supermall. Security tapes show two males and one female – old, young, anybody’s guess – standing near the kiosk. One of the bad guys distracted the victim while his partner in thievery reached around the kiosk and grabbed his backpack. Police did not disclose the value of the loss or indeed, whether the backpack contained anything at all.

Strong arm robbery: 1:26 a.m., 900 block of 14th Street Northeast. An unknown person robbed a man of his bike and backpack, assaulting him as he did so. Police did not disclose a value. The victim required medical attention.

OCT. 2

Key stealing thief: 6:19 a.m.,

200 block of 16th Street Southeast. A man left the keys in the ignition of his car and went back inside his home. When he emerged shortly thereafter, the car was there but the keys were gone.

Burglary: Overnight, 3300 block of A Street Southeast. An unknown person entered an unnamed business, broke into some construction vehicles and filched tools, winding up as he did so the unexpected star of a security video. Police did not disclose a value for the missing tools.

Vandalism: 10:20 a.m., 29900 block of 118th Avenue Southeast. One lout or possibly a gaggle of louts broke the windows out of an abandoned house between Sept. 20 and Oct. 2.

Theft from car: Overnight, 12000 block of Southeast 312th Lane. Somebody broke into a vehicle belonging to another somebody – age and gender undefined – and took a GPS unit, cash and other items worth an undisclosed amount.

Car theft: 9 a.m., 6100 block of 35th Way Southeast. Somebody stole a car from a driveway, only to return the vehicle prior to the time its owner awakened. The owner, gender undefined, suspects a former associate of equally undefined gender in the theft, owing to some recent unpleasantries between the two, including verbal threats and harassment.

Assault: 2:29 p.m., 1000 D St. N.E. A man followed another man from the area of a picket line, confronted him in the roadway at a traffic light near Fred Meyer and got himself arrested for assault.

Disorderly conduct:

12:45 p.m., 1225 37th St. N.W. Police observed picketers preventing vehicles from entering and exiting Oak Harbor Freight. Police did not disclose if they actually took any action.

OCT. 1

Vandalism: 9 p.m., 5400 block of Auburn Way South. A female took rock in hand and applied it with vigor to her ex-boyfriend’s car, damaging said car. The ex-boyfriend reported the crime the next day. Police sent the case to the prosecutor for review.

Booted: 11:03 p.m.,

440 16th St. N.E. A man got himself kicked out of BB McGraw’s after he got too lippy and bristly toward security.
