Aug. 18

Assault: 4:15 a.m., 500 block of 15th Street Northeast. A man told police he was just minding his own business when another guy approached him and accused him of slashing his tires. The accuser then knocked the victim from his bike and smacked him in the face.

Aug. 17

Assault with a firearm: 1 a.m., 500 block of M Street Southeast. A man assaulted his girlfriend then threatened her father and son with a handgun.

Aug. 16

Burglary: Overnight, 2400 block of Auburn Way North. Persons unknown broke into a fenced storage yard then repeated the feat on three parked vehicles, swiping numerous tools worth an undisclosed amount of money.

DUI alcohol or drugs: 11:25 am., 1300 block of 15th Street Northwest. A Pierce County resident was arrested for hit and run and DUI after crashing a motorcycle then skedaddling.

Vandalism: 12:59 p.m., 400 block of O Street Northeast. Somebody sprayed graffiti on a garage bordering an alley.

Vandalism: 12:59 p.m., 200 block of O Street Northeast. Somebody sprayed on a garage bordering an alley two blocks from the aforementioned spraying of a garage bordering an alley.

Vandalism: 1:13 p.m., 110 block of Pike Street Northeast. Somebody tagged a garage with graffiti several blocks away from the two incidents recounted above.

Aug. 15

Pot thief: 9:55 a.m., 900 block of 2nd Street Southeast. Persons unknown stole several flower pots from an Auburn resident’s yard.

Unlawful burning: 6:27 p.m., 12400 block of Southeast 312th Street. Somebody lit a smallish fire behind a Shell station, but left no discernible damage behind.

Trespass: 8:41 p.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. Police directed a male person suspected of dealing drugs at The Seasons Apartments to hit the road and not come back.

Harassment: 10:30 p.m., 120 block

of D Street Southeast. A female said she had been receiving threatening e-mails from an unknown female she met on MySpace.

Weapons offense: 11:28 p.m., 1400 block of 17th Street Southeast. A man pointed a weapon first at a male, then at a female before accidentally popping off a shot, striking said female in the arm and chest, resulting in undisclosed injuries. The shooter ran away prior to police arrival.

Aug. 14

Burglary: Overnight, 3000 block of R Street Southeast. Somebody swiped unidentified food items from several

concession stands at Game Farm Park.

Aug. 9

Burglary: 6 p.m., 700 block of I Street Northeast. Residents returning home from an outing found a rear door ajar and cash and gold coins that should have been present absent.
