Auburn police responded to the

following calls for service between May 29 and May 26:

MAY 29

Theft property from motor vehicle: 7:06 a.m., 30000 block of 120th Avenue Southeast. Unknown subjects broke into a non-gendered defined person’s vehicle and stole something undefined.

Burglary: Overnight, 805 Auburn Way S. The manager of Cubby’s Drive in called to report that an unknown suspect broke into the business and stole $200 cash from two registers.

Burglary: Overnight, 1400 block of West Valley Highway North. Police responded to a burglary and learned that numerous laptops had been taken from the backroom of a store. No value was given for the purloined items.

Burglary: Overnight, 2100 block of Auburn Way North. Somebody forced their way into a business through means police did not describe but stole nothing.

Theft: Overnight, 2100 block of Dogwood Drive Southeast. A man reported that someone had stolen his Longchi trailer, worth an undisclosed amount.

Shoplifting: 2:20 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. Police arrested a female of some age for shoplifting something of value from Burlington Coat Factory.

Shoplifting: 9:14 p.m., 1425 Supermall Way S.W. Police arrested two juvenile males for shoplifting headphone and a cassette tape recorder from some store at the Auburn Supermall.

Shoplifting: 11:33 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. Police arrested a female employee of Burlington Coat Factory for theft.

MAY 28

Theft: 9 a.m., 2020 A St. S.E. Unknown persons pried open a locked mailbox and stole the outgoing mail from Hebert Construction.

MAY 26

CPS referral: 11:30 p.m., 8th Street Northeast. A woman reported the sexual assault of her 2-year-old daughter by her 5-year-old stepbrother.
