The public is invited to a reception for Auburn’s nationally renowned artist Jon Roberton from 6 to 8 p.m., Dec. 3 at English Home and Garden, 102 29th St. SE, Auburn.

Roberton’s work is on exhibit at the center, which includes a nursery, landscaping and gifts.

The artist’s subject matter ranges from nature, people, ocean and landscapes, to impressionistic and abstract styles. With bold use of color and images, his artwork inspires emotion.

Roberton works in acrylics, egg tempera, oils, watercolor and pen and ink. He has completed more than 50 limited editions original lithographs, etchings and silkscreens. His artwork is owned by collectors throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
