RCS auction raises big numbers

More than $112,000 was raised for Rainier Christian Schools and its five campuses throughout South King County from RCS’s April 12 auction.

More than $112,000 was raised for Rainier Christian Schools and its five campuses throughout South King County from RCS’s April 12 auction.

Approximately 350 people attended the 11th annual event.

More than 400 silent auction items and more than 30 desserts went to the highest bidders. The live auction showcased a 2000 Town & Country minivan, several exotic vacations, a diamond necklace, principals for the day, and other items.

In addition, RCS families and friends gave generously with an auction appeal for teacher salaries and for student scholarships. They brought in $20,000 and $30,000, respectively.

Wilson Construction, and the Bruce, Lombardo and Littlefield families sponsored the event.

RCS has 840 students at five campuses throughout South King County.
