Robbery at the library

Auburn police were dispatched on Dec. 7 after receiving a report at approximately 4:13 p.m. regarding a robbery involving a weapon. According to the department’s public information log, a robbery occurred at the Auburn Library in the 1100 block of Auburn Way South. The department’s log listed six unidentified suspects in the incident. The log reported the suspects stole a black backpack and necklace in the incident, with one victim.

Kidnapping

Auburn police were dispatched on Dec. 7 after receiving a report of a kidnapping involving custodial interference in the 2900 block of Auburn Way South. According to the department’s public information log, a man flew his 4-year-old and 8-year-old children to Texas without their mother’s approval. According to the log, the man flew his children to Texas between Dec. 5 and Dec. 7.

Weapons offense

Auburn police were dispatched on Dec. 7 after receiving a report at approximately 7:45 p.m. of a weapons offense in the city. According to the department’s public information log, a drive-by shooting occurred near the 500 block of A Street Southeast. The department’s log listed no victims nor suspects in the incident.

The department’s log listed a woman identified by name and an unidentified man as suspects in the incident. The log listed one victim.
