See Ya Later Foundation dinner and auction raises $75, 531 for local families | PHOTOS

The See Ya Later Foundation hosted its eighth annual dinner and auction event Oct. 6 to raise funds for local families in medical crisis.

Thirty-four local businesses sponsored the “Monopoly”-themed event, which raised $75, 531. Guests were treated to Monopoly-style games, raffles and auction items and a spirited dessert dash, where one Reese’s Cheesecake brought in $1,200 alone.

Proceeds from the event will help the foundation next year cover the expenses of 12-to-18 families in need.

The next SYL event is its annual trivia night on March 29 at the Auburn Golf Course. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Scott Banke Memorial Scholarship Program.
