State Sen. Joe Fain, R-Auburn, invites residents of the 47th District to join him for a telephone town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, to discuss state issues including education, transportation, state spending and the upcoming 2013 legislative session.

The forum will allow participants to listen and ask questions from anywhere with a telephone, enabling more people to engage with Fain without attending a meeting in person.

Many residents will receive a call inviting them to the forum when it begins and may simply stay on the line to join; they also have the option to call in toll-free by dialing 1-877-229-8493 and entering the code 110995.

The 47th Legislative District includes Auburn, Kent, Covington and unincorporated King County. It has undergone some boundary changes due to the redistricting plan approved by the Legislature earlier this year.
