Shooting

Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 30 after receiving a report at approximately 8:10 a.m. regarding an assault with a firearm in the 29200 block of 144th Avenue Southeast. According to the department’s public information log, a shooting occurred and a citizen was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Police collected a bullet casing as evidence in the incident, according to the log.

Aggravated assault

Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 29 after receiving a report at approximately 12:21 p.m. regarding an aggravated assault at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of A Street Northeast. According to the department’s public information log, both an assault and robbery involving an unspecified weapon occurred. Police collected evidence using a strangulation kit and swabs for strangulation. Police arrested and booked a man on a charge of assault in the second degree, according to the log. Robbery

Dog attack

Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 27 after receiving a report at approximately 8:55 a.m. regarding an animal problem. Armed carjacking

Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 26 after receiving a report at approximately 11:18 p.m. regarding a robbery involving a firearm in the 12900 block of Southeast 312th Street. According to the department’s public information log, an armed carjacking occurred within the city limits.
