April 8

Theft from coin machine: 8 a.m., 12400 SE 312th St. An employee of a service station air machine vending company reported that someone had broken into a coin-operated air compressor and taken an undisclosed amount of coins.

Mr. Sudsy says go: 3:40 p.m., 2331 Dogwood St. SE. A man was told to stay clean away from the Mr. Sudsy Car Wash.

April 9

Burglary: 2:09 a.m., 405 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole the cash till from Buds & Blooms. Police did not disclose the amount of damages.

April 10

Theft: 8 a.m., 29700 block of 129th Place Southeast. A woman told police that somebody stole a BBQ grill from her home. Police did not disclose a value for the grill.

Theft from motor vehicle: 2:28 p.m., 1060 Supermall Way SW. Somebody broke into a man’s vehicle while it was parked at the SuperMall and stole a Garmin GPS located on the dash. No value was given.

Purse theft: 2:40 p.m., 1347 Auburn Way N. Persons unknown stole the contents of a woman’s purse that she had left unattended in a shopping cart. Police did not disclose the value of the loss.

April 12

Theft from motor vehicle: 3:07 a.m., 30390 block of 120th Avenue Southeast. Two or more bad guys broke into vehicles, taking tools and navigational systems, but one of the victims had a surveillance system, and it recorded the incident.

Vandalism: 9:21 a.m., 500 block of 8th Street Southwest. Somebody, or several somebodies, vandalized an Auburn business complex over the weekend by chucking unknown items through several windows. No amount of damages was available.

Forgery: 4:32 p.m., 1400 block of Lake Tapps Parkway Southeast. A doctor told police that somebody has been using his name and practice on forged prescriptions. The names on the prescriptions are not his patients, and the phone number printed on the prescriptions was going to a phony message telling the caller he or she had reached the doctor’s office. Two of the prescriptions have been filled for 120 tablets of 80mg Oxycontin each.

Controlled substance: 4 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Police arrested a woman for shoplifting at Burlington Coat Factory, and when they searched her, found marijuana individually packaged for distribution.

Shoplifting: 8:56 p.m., 1406 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. Four or five people were seen shoplifting beer from Top Foods in Lakeland Hills. Witnesses could not provide descriptions of the individuals, who fled before they could be apprehended. Total loss to theft was $73.16.

Theft: Overnight, 5500 block of Elizabeth Loop Southeast. A homeowner reported the theft of two large vertical pots from the front yard near his or her porch, pots worth an estimated $100.

Theft: Overnight, 5100 block of Mill Pond Drive Southeast. Somebody stole a large ceramic planter, about 3-feet high and weighing 50 pounds, from a front porch.
