SR 167 ramp closures in Auburn this weekend

Drivers who use the 15th Street Southwest on-ramps to southbound SR 167 should plan alternate routes.

Drivers who use 15th Street Southwest to access southbound State Route 167 in Auburn should take alternate routes and plan for delays this weekend.

Closure details

Starting at 10 p.m. Friday crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the westbound 15th Street Southwest loop on-ramp to southbound SR 167 around the clock. The on-ramp will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, May 2.

In addition, the eastbound 15th Street Southwest on-ramp to southbound SR 167 will close nightly from:

• 10 p.m. Friday, April 29, to 6 a.m. Saturday, April 30

• 9 p.m. Saturday, April 30, to 6 a.m. Sunday, May 1

• 9 p.m. Sunday, May 1, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 2

These closures are necessary to rebuild both 15th Street Southwest on-ramps. The work is part of the SR 167 8th to 277th Southbound HOT Lane project, which, when complete, will extend the southbound HOT lane by eight miles.
