To catch a thief: Sheriffs need your help

The King County Sheriffs Office needs the public’s help to find the thief who grabbed a bank bag out of the hands of a customer headed into SeaTac Bank of America.

The customer was walking into the bank at 16640 International Blvd., at about 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 21. The suspect was loitering at the ATM machines at the front of the bank. He grabbed the bank bag as the man walked by.

The thief took off running with the victim in hot pursuit. But the fleeing suspect was quicker and he got away.

The suspect is an Hispanic-looking man about 5-foot-6 tall. He wore a black-hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.

The 61-year-old victim was making a deposit with the receipts from a nearby deli.

If anyone recognizes the thief, they should call the Sheriffs Office at 206-296-3311 (24 hours) or 911.
