A food drive for Northwest Harvest will be conducted Nov. 17-23 by 106.1 KISS FM and Top Food & Drug stores throughout Puget Sound.
Donations may be taken to any Top Food & Drug store, including two locations in Auburn – 1702 Auburn Way N., and 1406 Lake Tapps Parkway E.
Northwest Harvest is seeking non-perishable, nutritious food items. Donors also may purchase pre-stuffed bags of groceries that include rice, pasta and soup for $5 apiece at the stores and donate them to Northwest Harvest.
ALSO: The Auburn Valley YMCA is holding a donation drive for the Auburn Food Drive, from now until Nov. 23. The food drive is open to YMCA members, as well as the Auburn community. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate at the YMCA, 1620 Perimeter Road SW. No homemade food, please. Donations will be accepted Monday-Friday, 5 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday,
8 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. … Mckinney Vehicle Services of Auburn will visit the Albertson’s parking lot at 1347 Auburn Way N., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to collect donations for the Auburn Food Bank. Albertson’s also is collecting donations.
