On Wednesday, Oct. 18, construction for the Auburn Way South safety improvements project will a require a traffic signal system shutdown at the intersection of Auburn Way South and Riverwalk Drive SE.

During construction work, the signal will be turned off and Police Officers will be directing traffic through the intersection.

Traffic impacts will begin at 8:30 a.m. and are anticipated to end by 2:30 p.m.

Please use caution and pay close attention to police officers, flaggers and construction sign directions.

Access to businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction. This work is dependent on weather.

On Thursday, Oct. 19, construction related to The Reserve development project will require a full road closure for both northbound and southbound traffic on A Street NE, from 10th Street NE to 14th Street NE. Access to businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected. Detour routes will be in place.
