March 23

Aid call: 9:36 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters and King County Medics finished evaluating a senior citizen who was struggling to breathe, and medics transported him to an area hospital.

March 24

Aid call: 5:50 p.m., (Lea Hill). Once firefighters completed their evaluation of a woman who had sustained a cut to a finger, family members transported her to Multi-Care Auburn Medical Center (MAMC) for further care and treatment of the wound.

March 25

Aid call: 9:45 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters finished treating at the scene an older woman who had fallen just outside her door, hitting her face on the pavement and injuring her nose. A private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Aid call: 11:45 p.m., (Auburn) Firefighters assessed a man with low blood sugar and administered him oral glucose, stabilizing his blood sugar so he could stay with his coworkers while he recovered.

March 27

Kitchen fire: 7:25 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters who’d responded to a minor fire in a kitchen found a home filled with smoke and the fire out. Firefighters and King County Medics treated the woman who lived there for breathing difficulty, cleared the home of smoke and transported the woman to MAMC for further evaluation.

Aid call: 11:06 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters treated a teenage girl who was suffering knee pain from a sports injury, and a private ambulance transported her to Valley Medical Center.

March 29

Broken water pipe: 1:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped a home owner who had a broken water pipe in his yard by shutting off the water and calling a plumber to fix the problem.
