Feb. 22

Accident: 2:49 p.m. Firefighters responding to a two-car, rear-end collision with heavy damage to both vehicles helped one woman open her door, but she and everyone else declined medical care, so firefighters turned the scene over to Auburn Police for investigation.

Feb. 23

Tree on road: 7:42 p.m. (South Auburn). Firefighters who’d come upon a fallen tree that was partially blocking R Street Southeast cleared the tree from the road but couldn’t clear the sidewalk next to the fallen tree, so they flagged the hazard with tape and the Auburn Police Department contacted the city’s street department.
