The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 263 requests for services between May 1 and 7, among them the following:

May 1

Aid call: 3:23 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated a woman who was having chest pain, and a private ambulance transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

May 2

Aid call: 2:47 p.m.,(Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated a senior citizen who was complaining of chest pain and a rapid heart rate, and a private ambulance transported her to a local hospital.

May 3

Aid call: 2 p.m., (Super Mall). Firefighters and King County Medics treated a man who was complaining of cardiac issues, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

May 4

AFA: 5:07 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm wailing away at a local hotel that had lost power during a storm, and, finding no smoke or fire, re-set the agitated alarm.

May 5

Aid call: 11:15 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped a middle-aged woman who was complaining of back pain, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

May 6

Aid call: 12:04 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters treated a man in the throes of an anxiety attack, and a private ambulance transported him to a local hospital.

May 7

Accident: 4:22 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a one-car accident found a vehicle that had left a roadway at a high speed, hit an apartment complex and come to a stop in a swale. The driver had left the scene before firefighters arrived, and they called in a City of Auburn building official to ensure the structure was safe for reentry.
