The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 236 calls for service between April 22 and 28, among them the following:

April 22 

Aid call: 9:39 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters assessed a senior citizen who had fallen and cut her forehead, provided her first aid, and arranged for a private ambulance to transport her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

April 23

Aid call: 10:40 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters treated an unconscious woman, and King County Medics transported her to Valley Medical Center.

April 24

Accident: 8:14 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a minor vehicle accident in the 4500 block of A Street Southeast evaluated a middle-aged woman for minor injuries.

April 25

Aid call: 10:20 a.m., (Algona). Firefighters responding to the 300 block of Algona Boulevard South for a senior citizen who had fallen down his steps treated his wound, readied him for transport and a private ambulance hurried him to MAMC.

April 26

Automatic fire alarm: 8:25 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters responding to a fire alarm at a local middle school determined that students in the robot lab who’d been soldering tripped the alarm.

April 27

Aid call: 10:53 a.m., (Outlet Collection). Firefighters evaluated a teenage girl who was complaining of dizziness, and a private ambulance zipped her to MAMC.

April 28

Illegal burn: 5:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding with Auburn Police to a homeless camping area with an illegal, unattended fire extinguished the fire and then turned the area over to police.
