Between Nov. 5 and 11, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 262 calls for service, among them the following:

Nov. 5

Aid call: 7:50 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters treated a middle-aged woman who was complaining of back pain after recent surgery, and a private ambulance motored her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Nov. 6

Stabbing: 11:43 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters dispatched to a report of a stabbing treated a young man with a laceration to his face, and a private ambulance hustled him to MAMC.

Nov. 7

Aid call: 8:33 a.m., (Algona). Firefighters evaluated a man who was complaining of dizziness, and a private ambulance drove him to MAMC.

Nov. 9

Aid call: 9:45 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters treated a man who’d been physically assaulted in a park, and he went on his own to MAMC for further care.

Nov. 10

Motorcycle Accident 9:51 a.m., (Super Mall). Firefighters responding to a car vs. motorcycle accident treated a man for a broken leg, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

Nov. 11

Aid call: 7:57 a.m., (Pacific). Responding to a kid who had accidentally stabbed himself in the back of the leg with a kitchen knife, firefighters bandaged the knife wound, and a private ambulance transported him with his mother to MAMC.
