Units from the Valley Regional Fire Authority, South King Fire & Rescue & King County Medic 1 battled and extinguished an Auburn house fire early Saturday morning.
The house fire, at 306 C St. NW, displaced seven occupants, including one who has treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but did not require hospitalization.
One VRFA firefighter was injured at the fire from a minor trip and fall and was treated at Auburn Regional Medical Center and released.
The fire investigation is ongoing. The cause is undetermined at this time.
The Red Cross was providing assistance. Displaced residents will be staying at a local hotel
Firefighters responded at 2:18 a.m. to a reported fire. Arriving units found a two-story structure fully engulfed in flames with numerous exposure structures that were jeopardized.
An aggressive defensive fire attack was used to knock down the fire and protect the adjacent exposures.
