Your Voice, Auburn Library host town hall meeting with 47th Legislative District lawmakers on Dec. 13

Your Voice, a new community and civic engagement platform, and the Auburn Library host an interactive and participatory town hall meeting with 47th Legislative District lawmakers and city leaders on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Auburn Library, 1102 Auburn Way S.

The community is invited to attend the first in a series of town hall meetings that will continue throughout 2019.

Everyone is encouraged to come to discuss community problems, raise questions and debate issues.

The following elected officials will attend the meeting:

• State Sen.-Elect Mona Das

• State Rep. Pat Sullivan

• State Rep.-Elect Debra Entenman

• Kent City Councilmember Dennis Higgins

• Covington City Councilmember Marlla Mhoon

• Covington City Councilmember Margaret Harto

Childcare will be available. Light refreshments will be served.

According to Frost Keaton, who is leading and developing Your Voice, the town hall series allows people to meet each other face to face and to focus on identifying and solving community problems.

Keaton plans to host community events at various locations and produce and develop a digital platform that will help residents connect with each other and act on issues that are most important to them.
