Art passed away

at Auburn Hospital

the age of 84. He was born

May 13, 1936 in Billings

Montana to parents

Charles & A. Louise

Martin. Art Graduated

from Purdue University

with a degree in Forestry

in 1961. A er college Art

came to Olympia, WA to

work for Dept. of Natural

resources where he met

and married his Wife

Marcia in July 1967. He has

one Son Ken Martin. He

Moved to Kent and began working for Boeing as Computer

System Analyst in 1974 until retiring in 1995. In 1991 Art

and his wife moved to Auburn. Art resided at the memory

care unit Brannon Park Retirement home from Aug. 1918

until his death. Art enjoyed playing golf with his wife and

travel with family especially visiting National Parks. He also

enjoyed pinochle and day trips with Auburn senior Center.

He was active as a volunteer with Covington Community

Church, Auburn King Solomon Masonic Lodge, State

Masonic Library, and Heritage Quest Research Library in

Sumner

He is survived by Marcia, his wife of 53 years and one

son, Ken Martin of Seattle. In lieu of owers donations

can be made to Covington Community Church Parsonage

Project. A small memorial service will be held at Covington

Community Church on October 24th, 2020 at 11AM.
