David Edward Leslie of Auburn, Washington, born September 12, 1952, passed away unexpectedly in his home of heart disease on July 18, 2022, at the age of 69. Dave was born in Seattle, Washington, the second youngest of five children born to Genevieve and George Leslie. He grew up in Auburn, graduated from Auburn High School, and completed a two-year associate degree.

Dave was a commercial electrician apprentice until he decided to change his career path. He was hired by the Boeing Company in Renton as a computer drafter and later became a Technology Writer for the Boeing Company in Seattle. He was employed with Boeing for 24 years until he retired in 2014.

Dave was known for his dry sense of humor and witty comments on life. He had an avid interest in astronomy and music and enjoyed hiking and skiing in his younger years.

David was recently preceded in death by his youngest brother Tim last year, and will be dearly missed by his sister, Pam Lavigne (Mike); brothers, Dan Leslie (Dorothy) and Mike Leslie (Margie); sister-in-law, Kristin Leslie, and his nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been made by Yahn & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
