Donna May Hart | Obituary

Donna May Hart, age 87, passed away peacefully on 17 August, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw Washington. She was born 16 August 1934 in Ottawa, Kansas, the eldest of five children, to Clarence and Lucille (McFarland) Jones. The family moved to California and then to Washington State in the Auburn area, where she raised her three sons.

Married to Don Hart for 51 years she worked alongside for her husbands small business; Don’s Dozer Service. They retired in July 1999. Donna was a kind person who loved her family, providing many good memories by hosting get togethers. Having a loving and sincere spirit she was primarily responsible for the help and care given to her disabled brother Jack. Her compassion extended to animals as shown in her membership with the humane society, including many other contributions to worthwhile charities. Donna was a long time member to the Eagles (FOE) in Auburn and then Orting. She supported and volunteered to do many good programs and services.

At home, Donna enjoyed cooking and was well known for her cookie/brownie plates given to family and friends. She had a passion for nature, particularly flowers. Donna crafted beautiful flower arrangements using real, artificial or a combination to include bows and ribbons.

Donna is survived by her husband Don of Bonney Lake, sister Pat and brother Gary of Ryderwood, son David of Bonney Lake, 13 grandchildren, 23 great and 5 great great grandchildren. Donna is preceded in death by her brothers Bill and Jack; daughters Shari and Marcena and sons Danny and Michael (Mic).

Donna’s last requests were simple. Her wish to be cremated was honored and a small family/friend celebration will commence when the best time and place can be determined.
