Edgar John Kavanaugh

Edgar John Kavanaugh, 71, of Algona passed away peacefully at home on September 7 surrounded by family. He was born June 24, 1938 in Fargo, North Dakota to Flora Kavanaugh. He served in the Navy from 1955 to 1959. After he was discharged he settled in the Seattle area. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing with computers. He is survived by three sons, six daughters, one brother and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister Anita. Services were held September 14 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Cancer Society or the Auburn Senior Center.
