Fulvio Stefano LaFranchi passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 6th, cared for by loved ones. He went to meet his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret, who preceded him in death 11 years ago. He is also preceded in death by his older brother who passed as a toddler and a younger brother, Victor. Fulvio is survived by his sister Florina Minalia, his 5 children – son Michael and daughters Patti, Tina, Kathy, and Mary, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. To say he left a lasting legacy is an understatement.
Fulvio’s Life Celebration Mass was held on October 21st, what would have been his 96th birthday. His internment will be Monday October 25 at Tahoma National Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in his name be made to the American Heart Association.
