Gilbert “Gib” B. Davis

Gib passed away on June 21, 2010 from complications of pneumonia while on vacation in Reno, Nevada. Beloved husband of Janet E. Davis of 52 years. Loving father of Mandy Fugate (Greg), Kelly Davis (Kelly) and Susan Davis (Jon). Loving grandfather to Cassie, Kanium and Cody. Gib was preceded in death by his parents Oliver L. Davis and Perpetua Davis; brother Bob L. Davis and baby daughter Cindy.Gib was a lifelong resident of Auburn, WA and graduated from Auburn High School in 1957. He was a truck driver for Teamster’s for 39 years before taking early retirement in 1996.Gib enjoyed spending time with his family as well as his frequent trips to Reno with his wife Janet. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends for many years to come. A celebration of life will he held on Saturday, July 3 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Rio Verde clubhouse located at, 1402 – 22nd St NE, Auburn, WA.All who knew Gib are welcome to attend.
