Hazel Elizabeth Dennis

Hazel, age 51, passed away in her home on Sunday, May 9, 2010 after a long, hard fight with cancer. She will be remembered fondly with great joy by her brothers Steve and Mike Dennis, sisters Karen Larkin and Elaine Nefsey, in-laws Donna Dennis and Robert Ettlinger and her many, many friends including Heather Edwards and Linda Warnick. Her family thanks the many doctors, caregivers and friends who helped Hazel stay at her home and remain independent, which meant so much to her. Hazel graduated from the University of Washington. She loved gardening, golfing and skiing. Most of all she loved her doggies. Hazel was a great friend to those who knew her for years, and an instant friend to anyone she met. Hazel never met a stranger. A celebration of Hazel’s life will be held at the Rainbow Café in Auburn at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 15.
