Jacquelyn MacGregor passed away on August 10. She was known as a fiercely determined woman who raised five children on her own and served over 40 years as a teacher’s assistant with the Auburn School District. When Jacquelyn lost her husband to a heart attack in 1968, caring for her five children—-ranging in age from 4-13—-became her primary focus.

Born Jacquelyn Baier, June 17, 1935, Jacquie lived a life of faith and conviction. In recent years Jacquelyn enjoyed sharing time with her eight grandchildren, and even more recently, with her four great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Ferrell; son, Rob MacGregor; daughter, Kim Henry; son, Colin MacGregor; and son Patrick MacGregor. There will be a funeral mass for Jacquelyn on August 30, 11:00am, at Holy Family Church in Auburn.
