Janet Irwin Nydegger was born on September 10, 1941 in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away on May 11, 2017 after a long series of illnesses in Federal Way, Washington.

After attending Smith College and graduating from the University of Nebraska, she married Daniel Nydegger and together they moved to Auburn and raised their family.

Janet is survived by her husband, Daniel Nydegger, children Holly Nydegger and David Nydegger, and grandsons Michael and Lukas McIntosh.

Over the years, Janet managed social workers, sold real estate, and owned her own real estate company. She was loyal, social, kind, held strong opinions, and was usually late to most things. She was a true friend to many.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, 100 N St SE, Auburn, WA 98002.
