Jeannette Ranniger (m. Knechtel, Carlton, Walker)was born August 25, 1930 in Cheney, Wa. She died June 16, 2021, in Vashon.
She grew up in Ellensburg, later settling in Auburn; survived by 6 children, 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She served education with distinction as local member then president of the Auburn Washington PTA, then School Board from 1973 to 1985. She worked at Riverton and Auburn General Hospitals, retiring as head of risk management in 1991.
