April 11, 1947 – October 14, 2021

Our family sadly announces the passing of Jim Doil, who joined the Lord on October 14, 2021. We are thankful that Jim is at rest in his Heavenly Home.

Jim was born to Adelyn and Doug Doil in Fort Worth, Texas on April 11, 1947.

He served proudly in the US Navy on the USS Coral Sea and sustained lifelong injuries, physical and emotional, from a fire on the ship on October 25, 1967.

It was 1999 that Jim married the one true love of his life, Lucy, they were married the last, and best, 22 years of Jim’s life. Jim was passionate about the church, the bible, and assisting countless widows and those in need. Jim did not have much, but he gave freely and often of what he had.

Jim is survived by his wife Lucy, his sister Nancy, brother Corey, uncle Harold, and stepchildren Jim (Ann), Teresa (Bob), Jeff (Laurie) and Nick (Rachel) and step- grandchildren Michael, Katie, April, & Kellie, numerous nieces & nephews, one great niece and one great nephew.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 3611 I Street, Auburn, WA, 2pm – 5pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request you consider donations to assist with expenses as we say goodbye to this big-hearted man. Please see the Jim Doil Memorial
