MARTIN LUTHER GREINER

Martin Luther Greiner, 92 of Auburn, WA went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2018. Martin was born September 11, 1925 in Goshenville, PA, to Herman & Elsie Mae Greiner.

After graduating high school, he joined the Navy and served as a radioman in World War II. After serving in the military his job with the FAA moved him to Alaska where he met his wife Bernice. Married on December 11, 1948. Along with seven children they moved to Auburn, WA. He later retired after more than thirty years as an air traffic controller with the FAA. Martin’s loving children, church family, gardening, the Seattle Mariners and his dog Mert brought him great joy during retirement.

Martin was preceded in death by his wife Bernice, daughter Linda, and granddaughter Stephanie. He is survived by his children Jenny Yingling, David (Kari), Mary, Wesley (Janice), Mark (Sandy), and James (Laura), nineteen grandchildren, along with many great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Interment with military honors at Tahoma National Cemetery. Donations in Martin’s name to Auburn Adventist Community Center.
