MAUREEN IRBY COURTNEY

Position Filled – Heaven’s been seeking an avid gardener, hiking companion, photographer, wildflower expert, and loving wife and mother for some time. On Saturday, September 30, 2017, Maureen Irby Courtney of Auburn, Washington passed away from this earth, where she filled that position so abundantly.

Maureen was born on July 9, 1948, to Phyllis and Tom Irby, she spent many summers at Mt Rainier camping and hiking where she gained her love for wildflowers and the outdoors.

Maureen was an avid volunteer, lending her vast knowledge and talents to so many. She had compassion for those less fortunate and donated to many charities providing food, water, education and the love of God around the world.

She is survived by her mother Phyllis, husband Wayne, son Josh, grandson Baron, and sister Lynne.

She is also known as “Auntie M” to Many who loved her.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday October 14th, at 2pm at Wabash Church, located at: 18325 SE 384th St, Auburn, WA 98092. This service is open to anyone who would like to attend.
