Yvonne Bjerke Grobe, born March 24, 1930 in Grand Forks, ND, died November 28, 2019 in Auburn, WA. Yvonne moved to West Seattle where she attended West Seattle High School and raised three daughters with husband Roy, who she met while working at Boeing. She later moved to Kent and Auburn.

Yvonne was active in the church and helped found St. James Thrift Store. She loved antiques, real estate, quilting, and decorating. She traveled throughout Europe, Jerusalem, and lived in South America when younger. Yvonne was a member of many groups with friends from all circles of life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Roy, oldest daughter Liz, and brother Jerry. She is survived by her brother Gene (Marilyn), daughters, Sue (Mike) Stevens and Caty Burt, son-in-law Mike Corcoran, grandchildren Leah (Joseph), Kelly, Erin (Isaiah), Gus and Jessie, and four great grandchildren.

Yvonne’s life will be celebrated at Caty Burt’s home in West Seattle on January 19th, 1pm. 2603 37th Ave SW Seattle.
