The Auburn Mountainview girls soccer team defeated South Puget Sound League 3A rival Bonney Lake 1-1 in league play Thursday. Chloe Baquian found Lion teammate Josette Lake at the 65th minute to draw first blood in the contest.

The Auburn Mountainview girls soccer team defeated South Puget Sound League 3A rival Bonney Lake 1-1 in league play Thursday.

Kellcy Emory found Lion teammate Josette Lake at the 65th minute to draw first blood in the contest.

Malia Brudvik connected with Nicole Gaarder to score an insurance goal for Auburn Mountainview at the 78th minute.

Bonney Lake falls to 0-2-0 in league play, 1-2-0 overall. The Panther’s will host Enumclaw at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Lions improve to 1-1 league, 1-2-1 overall and travel to Peninsula at 7:15 p.m. next Tuesday.
