The Lions piled up 210 yards total rushing on 33 attempts, with four runners posting double-digit yardage, to improve to 5-0 overall, 3-0 in the South Puget Sound League 3A.

The Ravens dropped to 0-3 league, 0-5 overall.

Auburn Mountainview struck early, courtesy of a Gresch Jensen-to-Ryan Lacey 7-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Jensen hooked up with receiver Vaughn Daggs on a 30-yard TD play.

The Lions closed out scoring in the first half with Devon Tandberg booting a 39-yard field goal.

In the second half, Auburn Mountainview scored two TDs on the ground, one on Nate Hardin’s 8-yard run, the other on Bitner Wilson’s 34-yard scamper.

Hardin also added a defensive touchdown in the third quarter, scooping up a fumble and returning it 20 yards for the score.

Auburn Riverside’s lone score in the game was a safety in the third quarter.

The Lions finished the game with 291 yards of total offense, 210 of which came on the ground.

Jensen finished with 4-of-15 passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also had 35 yards rushing on eight carries. Hardin had a game-high 82 yards rushing on eight carries and a touchdown.

Wilson rushed for 67 yards and Austin Hardaway added 53.

Lacey had two receptions for 23 yards and a TD.

The Ravens had 206 yards of total offense, with 110 coming on the ground.

Auburn Riverside coughed up four fumbles, losing two to the Lions.

Odarious Shaw led Auburn Riverside in rushing with 42 yards on 12 carries.

Raven quarterback Kyle Suttrick was 5-of-16 passing for 78 yards and backup Riley Maracich was 3-of-6 for 18 yards.

Blake Foster had three catches for 18 yards.

Daniel Posey and Rashon Miller had interceptions for Auburn Riverside.

Auburn Mountainview hosts Lakes (2-1, 4-1) at 7 p.m. this Friday at Auburn Memorial Stadium. Auburn Riverside travels to Bonney Lake (0-3, 1-4) at 7 p.m. this Friday at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner.
