The Lancers (1-0 league, 3-0 overall) jumped out to a quick lead, with quarterback Jaiave Magalei finding Benning Potoa’e for a 12-yard touchdown pass just 2 minutes, 15 seconds into the game.

By the time the dust had settled at the end of the first half, Lakes was up 61-0.

The Ravens (0-1, 0-3) had no answer for Magalei, who finished the game with 12-of-14 passing for 248 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Lancers piled up 267 yards rushing, finishing with 511 yards of total offense.

Lakes harassed quarterback Kyle Sutrick, sacking him six times and picking him off once. Sutrick finished the game with 6-of-17 passing for 55 yards and one touchdown, a 4-yard strike to Gavin Hettinger in the fourth quarter.

The Lancers also recorded 12 tackles for loss, pushing the Ravens back 58 yards.

The Ravens’ Odarious Shaw carried the ball six times for 31 yards.

Hettinger had three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown and Dennis Beard had two catches for 12 yards.

Auburn Riverside hosts rival Auburn (0-1, 1-2) at 7 p.m. next Friday at Auburn Memorial Stadium.

The Ravens won last season’s matchup, 20-7.
