Shawn Kilgallon is the new boys basketball coach at Auburn Riverside High School.

Kilgallon, a cancer survivor who coached Kentwood to a South Puget Sound League 4A North Division title in his first season in 1997-98, succeeds Tom Adams, who resigned earlier this year after eight seasons and subsequently took the boys coaching job at Peninsula, his alma mater.

The schools is in the process of hiring of a new girls basketball coach. Ed Rosin was the Ravens’ interim coach last season following the resignation of Adam Barrett.
